Pragmata All Weapons List & Tier Guide 2026

Complete database of all 7 weapons. Filter by category, see durability and tips.

Grip Gun (Pistol)

Grip Gun (Pistol)

must-have
primaryRange: mediumInfinite

Hugh's starting sidearm. Six-round capacity with automatic ammo recharge over time. The only weapon with infinite durability -- it never permanently breaks. Your fallback when all other weapons are depleted. Has a heat buildup system; overheat causes a brief cooldown before firing again.

Tip: Upgrade this first at the Shelter -- it's the only weapon you always have, so every stat boost compounds. When it overheats, switch to the Charge Rifle or a Unit weapon and back again. Best for finishing off weak-pointed enemies when heavier weapons are depleted.

Ammo: Automatic recharge

Charge Rifle (Automatic Rifle)

must-have
primaryRange: longInfinite

A more powerful primary weapon unlocked later in the game. Higher sustained fire rate than the Grip Gun but with stronger recoil and its own heat buildup system. Becomes your primary damage dealer once unlocked. Has infinite durability like the Grip Gun.

Tip: Confirmed by IGN review. Alternating between the Grip Gun and Charge Rifle during each weapon's heat cooldown period is a key sustained-damage tactic. The recoil is significant -- fire in short controlled bursts on moving targets.

Ammo: Automatic recharge (heat-limited)

Shockwave Blaster

must-have
attackRange: shortâš?Breakable

Close-range burst weapon that deals massive AoE damage and staggers enemies. Particularly effective against clustered groups of enemies. Also known as the Shockwave Gun or Impact Blaster in some sources. Devastatingly effective when hitting exposed weak points after a successful hack. Breaks permanently when ammo runs out -- must be picked up from the battlefield. (GamingBolt, Capcom official video, April 16 2026)

Tip: Save shots for right after Diana exposes a weak point -- the damage multiplier makes it the highest burst damage in the game at short range. GamesRadar reviewer called it their personal favorite. Don't waste charges on unweakened enemies.

Ammo: Floor pickups from enemies

Charge Piercer

Charge Piercer

must-have
attackRange: longâš?Breakable

Rapid-fire energy rifle with sustained output at long range. Each shot pierces through multiple targets in a straight line -- ideal for tearing through lined-up bots with a single burst. Higher ammo capacity than the Shockwave Blaster. Breaks permanently when ammo runs out. (GamingBolt, Capcom official video, April 16 2026)

Tip: Pairs well with Diana's hacking to consistently hit exposed weak points at distance. Becomes a core damage dealer in the second half of the game.

Ammo: Floor pickups

Grenade Launcher

must-have
attackRange: mediumâš?Breakable

Explosive projectile weapon that excels at clearing groups of enemies. Area-of-effect damage makes it highly effective when multiple enemies are clustered together. Breaks permanently when depleted.

Tip: Confirmed by IGN review as an authoritative crowd-clearing option. Most effective after Diana uses Multi-Target hack to weaken a group simultaneously -- then detonate a grenade in the cluster for maximum efficiency.

Ammo: Floor pickups

Homing Missiles

situational
attackRange: longâš?Breakable

Lock-on missile weapon that tracks enemies even when they are dodging or airborne. Particularly effective against fast-moving aerial units. Breaks permanently when depleted.

Tip: Best against aerial drones and fast-moving enemies where manual aim is difficult. Note: the Yellow Node "Missile Hack" ability can also reflect enemy-fired missiles back at the sender -- a different but related mechanic.

Ammo: Floor pickups

Stasis Net

Stasis Net

must-have
tacticalRange: mediumâš?Breakable

Fires a net that temporarily immobilizes enemies, buying time to complete a hack, set up a follow-up shot, or reposition. Confirmed by IGN as a key tactical tool. Breaks permanently when depleted.

Tip: One of the most strategically flexible weapons in the game. Use it to freeze an enemy mid-attack while Diana completes the hack grid. Also invaluable during Boss fights for creating safe windows. IGN listed it as essential kit.

Ammo: Floor pickups

Decoy Gun (Decoy Generator)

situational
defenseRange: shortâš?Breakable

Deploys a holographic decoy that draws enemy attention, giving Diana a safe window to complete long hack sequences without being disrupted.

Tip: Essential during large enemy group encounters when Diana is mid-hack. Place the decoy between Diana and incoming enemies. Most valuable for protecting Diana during boss fights with multiple terminal-hacking sequences.

Ammo: Floor pickups

Riot Blaster

Riot Blaster

situational
tacticalRange: mediumâš?Breakable

Rapid-fire suppression weapon that disrupts enemy targeting systems and provides area denial in dense indoor combat. Breaks permanently when ammo runs out.

Tip: Best used as a bridge weapon to create space for Diana to hack when multiple enemies rush simultaneously. Damage is spread thin against single targets -- switch to the Shockwave Gun once the group is thinned.

Ammo: Floor pickups

Weapon Mod System

Unlock combat mods at the Shelter Equipment Upgrade Station. Mods provide unique passive upgrades that synergize with specific weapon types. Upgrade Hugh to equip multiple mods simultaneously.

Close Quarters Amplifier

Impact Blaster

Increases damage by 30% at point-blank range. Pairs perfectly with the Impact Blaster's shotgun spread.

Long Range Booster

Charge Piercer / Heavy Railgun

Increases damage by 25% when target is beyond 15m. Essential for boss final-phase sniping.

Hack Window Extender

All

Extends the weak-point exposure window after a successful Diana hack by 2 seconds. More time to land critical shots.

Witch Time Dodge

Passive (Hugh perk)

Trigger a bullet-time slow effect after a perfect dodge. Permanently unlocked through upgrades -- not a removable mod.

Suppression Stacker

Riot Blaster

Each Riot Blaster hit stacks a debuff. At 5 stacks, enemy targeting systems are fully scrambled for 4 seconds.

Stasis Extender

Stasis Net

Increases Stasis Net freeze duration by 40%. Frozen enemies stay still long enough for a full Multihack + burst cycle.

Mod Slot Tip

Hugh starts with 1 mod slot. Upgrade him at the Shelter to unlock up to 4 simultaneous mod slots. Prioritize Hack Window Extender + Long Range Booster as your first combo for general boss fights.

Frequently Asked Questions

What happens when a weapon runs out of ammo in Pragmata?

Special weapons permanently break when ammo is depleted. Only the Grip Gun has infinite durability with auto-recharging ammo.

What is the best weapon in Pragmata?

The Impact Blaster paired with a completed Diana hack delivers the strongest burst damage. The Stasis Net is the most underrated -- freezing enemies while hacking others is extremely efficient. Always upgrade the Grip Gun first since it's permanent.

How do you get more weapons in Pragmata?

Special weapons drop from defeated enemies on the battlefield. Some can also be printed at the Shelter 3D Printer using blueprints found during missions.

How many weapon types are in Pragmata?

Hugh can equip four weapon types. The default weapon (Grip Gun) automatically reloads over time. The other three are powerful weapons picked up from enemies or the environment — they break permanently when their ammo runs out.
