Hugh, Diana, IDUS and Cabin -- full profiles, abilities, and gameplay tips.

All Characters

Hugh Williams

Hugh Williams

Protagonist

An astronaut engineer working for the Delphi Corporation, sent to the moon with his crew to investigate a large mining base that has gone dark. The base extracts a special lunar ore called Lunum -- a material so versatile it can be used to print almost anything: machines, robots, androids, entire cities and forests. When a seismic event kills his crew and the facility is taken over by a rogue AI named IDUS, Hugh finds himself the lone survivor -- forming an unlikely partnership with a child-like android named Diana who latches onto the back of his spacesuit. He grows increasingly protective of Diana as the story unfolds, with the two developing a genuine father-daughter dynamic. (AltChar review + GamesRadar review, April 2026)

COMBAT

  • >Full weapon loadout (Primary / Attack / Tactical / Defense / Heavy)
  • >Tactical equipment: sticky grenades, deployable cover
  • >Precision shooting to destroy enemy weak points exposed by Diana

MOBILITY

  • >Thruster suit for jet-assisted jumps and mid-air repositioning
  • >Upgrade to double mid-air dash via Aero-Stabilizers
  • >Fast repositioning essential for surviving long hack sequences

UPGRADES

  • >Equipment Upgrade Station in Shelter for permanent stat boosts
  • >Mod system: equip multiple combat mods simultaneously after upgrades
  • >Perfect dodge unlocks "Witch Time" bullet-time window (perk)
Diana

Diana

Android Companion / Hacking Specialist

A fully conscious child-like android Hugh encounters at the facility. Her official designation is D-I-0336-7 -- Diana is the nickname Hugh gives her, shared with the Roman goddess of the moon. She was inexplicably created with the likeness of a seven-year-old girl, complete with platinum waist-length hair. She is a prototype of something called a "Pragmata." She saves Hugh from certain death early in the story, then latches onto the back of his spacesuit and becomes his inseparable hacking partner. Diana possesses exceptional hacking abilities -- the only way to expose enemy weak points for Hugh to attack. Far from a helpless companion, Diana is a powerful and essential part of the duo in every sense. As an android, she has no frame of reference for things Hugh takes for granted: death, family, and sharing a meal. Her curiosity and warmth create small philosophical moments that deepen the story throughout. (AltChar review + GamesRadar review + Eurogamer review + official Capcom site + MP1st review, April 2026)

HACKING

  • >Decode: hack individual enemies to expose weak points
  • >Multihack: disable up to 5 enemies simultaneously
  • >System Overload: area-of-effect stun burst on all nearby enemies

SUPPORT

  • >Environmental Scan: reveal hidden items and enemy weak points
  • >Overdrive Protocol (R3+L3): ultimate burst that stuns ALL enemies in range
  • >Door & terminal hacking: unlock paths and deactivate traps

LIMITATIONS

  • >Can be "disrupted" by taking damage -- disables all hacking until re-synced
  • >Abilities cost Luna Filament resource -- manage carefully
  • >Hacking range decreases on lunar surface if Hugh moves too far away
IDUS

IDUS

Antagonist AI

The artificial intelligence system controlling The Cradle's automated defenses. After going rogue, IDUS turns the facility's own systems against Hugh and Diana, sending waves of enemy bots to stop them. IDUS appears late in the story but drives the central conflict throughout. Reviewers note the villain's late arrival means its impact is somewhat limited -- but the ending delivers on the narrative setup. (AltChar review + Game8 review, April 2026)

THREAT

  • >Controls all automated defense systems in the lunar facility
  • >Triggers facility-wide lockdown if components are damaged
  • >Spawns elite robot units in response to player progress
  • >Final boss fight across 4 phases combining all game mechanics
Cabin

Cabin

Support Robot / Shelter NPC

A small, friendly support robot stationed in the Shelter hub. Cabin provides Hugh and Diana with information, tactical support, and manages the Bingo Sheet challenge board. Talking to Cabin regularly unlocks new dialogue and Cabin Coins -- the currency used to claim Bingo Sheet rewards including outfit unlocks. New dialogue unlocks after each biome. (AltChar review + GamesRadar review, April 2026)

SUPPORT

  • >Marks nearby Lunafilament resource clusters on the map
  • >Reveals hidden upgrade terminal locations after each chapter
  • >Provides mission hints and tactical suggestions
  • >Unlocks new Bingo Board rewards through dialogue progression
