Pragmata Enemy Guide -- All Types & Weaknesses 2026
Every enemy type, danger rating, weakness, and counter strategy.
Universal Combat Rule
For almost every enemy: Hack first with Diana → expose weak points → finish with Hugh. Direct shooting without hacking is always inefficient. Check for red shields before hacking.
Enemy Types

Standard Combat Bot
The most common enemy in the facility. Basic armored robots that patrol and engage on sight. Vulnerable to Diana's hacking once engaged.

Heavy Armored Bot
Thick-plated robots that shrug off standard gunfire. Requires sustained hacking and heavier weapons to bring down.

Aerial Drone
Fast-moving flying units that attack from above. Hard to hit with standard aim -- best dealt with using homing weapons or Diana's hacking.

Shielded Bot
Enemy bots equipped with an energy barrier that blocks all hacking while active. Cannot be hacked until the shield is destroyed.

Ranged Artillery Bot
Bots that attack from distance with projectiles or tracking weapons. Dangerous when multiple other enemies are present.

Elite Guard Bot
High-threat bipedal mechs that appear in later biomes. More durable and aggressive than standard heavy bots.

Frequently Asked Questions
How many enemy types are in Pragmata?
Pragmata features 8 main enemy types: Standard Walker Bot, Heavy Armored Stalker, Aerial Drone, Red Shield Bot, Missile Launcher Bot, Filament Crawler, Stalker Mech, and Anomaly-Class enemies. Each requires a different combat approach combining Hugh's firepower and Diana's hacking.
How do you defeat red shield enemies in Pragmata?
Red Shield Bots are completely immune to hacking while their shield is active. Destroy the red barrier with Hugh's weapons first -- the Impact Blaster is the fastest option. Only THEN attempt to hack.
Can Diana hack aerial drones in Pragmata?
Yes -- Diana can take direct control of aerial drones via hack, turning them into temporary allies that attack other enemies. This is the most effective way to deal with flying units.
What are Anomaly-Class enemies in Pragmata?
Anomaly-Class enemies include unusual variants like wheel-form and giant baby-faced robots with irregular attack patterns. Maintain mid-range distance and time Diana's hacks to the brief pauses between their attacks.
